Now people are asking why this company are offering free meals to all the US veterans and active duty service members in celebration of Veterans Day 2010.

Apparently, heere are the free offerings: 7 oz House Sirloin Steak, Chicken Tenders, Bacon Cheeseburger, Double Crunch shrimp, Three-Cheese Chicken Penne, Fiesta Lime Chicken, and the Oriental Chicken Salad. Of these seven choices, which is healthiest?

According to Applebees, the salad has 1,310 calories and 93 g of fat, 15 of which are saturated. The salad also packs 1,470 g of sodium. Nevertheless, the Fiesta Lime Chicken is a little better, with 1,230 calories and 67 g of fat, 16 of which are saturated. However, it packs a whopping 4,390 mg of sodium.
And for those who want to keep the calories as low as possible then try the very yummy Sirloin Steak as the Applebees claims that it only got 240 calories and 10g of fat which is considered as the lowest in the list of menu.
Now, the participants only needed to provide proof of military service to take their advantage of this free meal offer in AppleBees. The Applebees will thank the nations veterans and active duty military by inviting them to their neighborhoodApplebees Grill and Bar for afree meal on Veterans day from 10 a.m. to close to current and former servicemen and women at restaurants throughout the country, Thursday, Nov 11, 2010.
